Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer was born in England. She's an actress screenwriter, writer and actor in Hollywood movies. Mortimer is an ex-theatre pupil with an impressive legacy. Her personality is also an affable personality. Mortimer was the lead in 'Mary Poppins Returns', a follow-up to 1964's cult musical "Mary Poppins." The role was an important milestone in her career. Her character was an eccentric French assistant in 'The Pink Panther' film and also a spirited and determined news editor in the 'The Newsroom. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith on 1 December 1971 to the well-known barrister and author Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop she was the daughter of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer. Emily has several siblings. Emily is blessed with a brother as well as one sister due to the union of her father to Penelope Fletcher. Her younger sister is known as Rosie. Also, she has a half-brother named Ross Bentley, from her father's relationship with actress Wendy Craig. Mortimer went to the St Paul's Girls' School (London) where she was a student. After graduating of Oxford University in 1994 where she studied English at Lincoln College and Russian, she was enrolled in the Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School to pursue a degree in acting.
